Adventure Hunt currently has outdoor escape room experiences in six locations around Tenerife: Santa Cruz, La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz, El Medano, Costa Adeje and Los Abrigos. They are all different. You can explore historic city centres, street art, fishing villages, beaches and waterfront promenades, depending on which Adventure Hunt you choose.<\/p>\n
All Adventure Hunts are designed by someone who lives locally. This is a really important part of what Adventure Hunt offers. We use interesting features, highlights and hidden gems that we have found locally, including plenty of things you could easily walk straight past without ever noticing.<\/p>\n
Adventure Hunt has elements of outdoor escape rooms, scavenger hunts and treasure trails. We use buildings, statues, signs, murals, information plaques and just about anything else we find to create interesting and fun puzzles. You don’t need any special knowledge, just look around, pay attention and work out the answers.<\/p>\n
The Adventure Hunt App<\/a> guides you from one puzzle to the next without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map. Finding your way is part of the adventure. Hints are available for every puzzle if you get stuck. The App runs on your own Android<\/a> or iPhone<\/a>, so there is no equipment to collect and no guide to meet before you start.<\/p>\n Book online and start whenever you like. There are no fixed departure times, so plan in advance or decide on the day itself. Each booking covers a group of up to six people and Adventure Hunt is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch. We recommend groups of 2-4 people so that everyone stays involved.<\/p>\n The Santa Cruz Adventure Hunt starts close to the cruise terminal and takes you through the centre of Tenerife’s capital. The route includes plazas, pedestrian streets, the market, parks and the waterfront, with around 20 clues spread over approximately 2.5 km.<\/p>\n If you want to explore a city and see a good mix of different areas, Santa Cruz is a great choice. It is also really convenient if you are arriving on a cruise, as you can walk to the start from the port.<\/p>\n Discover the Santa Cruz Adventure Hunt<\/a><\/p>\n La Laguna is completely different. The historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is full of colourful buildings, traditional Canarian architecture, plazas and pedestrian streets.<\/p>\n If you like history and old buildings, choose La Laguna. Even if you already know the town, the puzzles will have you looking at things you probably haven’t noticed before.<\/p>\n Discover the La Laguna Adventure Hunt<\/a><\/p>\n Puerto de la Cruz is a little different because there are two completely separate Adventure Hunts here.<\/p>\n The standard route explores the harbour, old town, plazas, churches and waterfront. The Street Art Adventure Hunt stays in the old town and is 100% about the murals and street art.<\/p>\n If you like street art, try that one. If you want to see more of Puerto de la Cruz, choose the standard route. If you can’t decide, then do both!<\/p>\n Discover the Puerto de la Cruz Adventure Hunts<\/a><\/p>\n The El Medano Adventure Hunt starts on the boardwalk overlooking Playa Leocadio Machado and explores the plazas, streets and waterfront around the town.<\/p>\n There is a standard route and a slightly shorter Family option, which simply cuts out part of the walk. El Medano is quite a compact Adventure Hunt and there are lots of places along the way to stop for a drink, an ice cream or something to eat. There is no time limit, so why rush?<\/p>\n Discover the El Medano Adventure Hunt<\/a><\/p>\n The Costa Adeje Adventure Hunt follows the waterfront and boardwalks from Playa El Bobo to Playa Fanabe. If you are staying around Costa Adeje or Las Americas, this will probably be the closest Adventure Hunt to you.<\/p>\n You can choose the Standard or Family version. They follow the same general route, but the Family version has slightly less cryptic clues and more helpful hints.
