It is a cross between a walking tour, an escape room, and a scavenger hunt. Each puzzle is based on features you will find in plain sight. They might be murals, buildings, landmarks, water features, statues, play areas, or information boards. The questions are designed to make you think and pay attention, making for a fun group activity. Unlike a traditional walking tour, the puzzles encourage you to notice details that most visitors would simply walk past. Book online then start whenever you like. There are no guides or fixed departure times. Available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch, with each booking covering a group of up to six people.\r\n\r\nThe Adventure Hunt app guides you between puzzles without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map, making the journey itself part of the adventure. The app runs on your own Android<\/a> or iPhone<\/a>, so there is no need to collect equipment or meet a guide before you start.\r\n\r\nExplore entirely at your own pace. Stop whenever you like for a drink, a meal or to admire the sights, then continue whenever you're ready\u2014even the next day if you wish. Hints are available for every puzzle, so you can always continue your adventure.\r\n\r\nThis adventure starts near Palma's historic Cathedral, under the shade of a giant rubber tree. From here, the route winds through the narrow streets and historic squares of the old town, taking in areas around Pla\u00e7a de Cort, Pla\u00e7a Major, La Rambla, Sant Miquel and the bustling Mercat de l'Olivar before looping back towards the Cathedral. Along the way you'll encounter grand avenues, hidden corners, statues, churches, historic buildings and some of the city's most characterful streets. It is just over 3km long and has 23 clues to solve along the way. Solving the clues will unlock the fascinating 2,000-year history of Palma, and sometimes its grisly secrets. It's almost flat, with only gentle gradients. It's a circular route, and you will finish just across the road from the starting point. The final section includes some short sections of stairway, which won't be suitable for wheelchair users, but it's possible to take a diversion that is step-free.\r\n\r\nAdventure Hunt is ideal for friends, couples, families or colleagues. It is a great way to spend 1.5 to 2 hours\u2014or longer if you stop along the way. Bring water, maybe a snack, and enjoy the journey at your own pace.
