Adventure Hunt is a new way to explore, enjoy a stroll and have some fun in the Alicante sun. Only 19.50€ per group.
Adventure Hunt is a new outdoor escape room experience in Alicante. It is similar to escape rooms and scavenger hunts. Each puzzle uses items in plain sight. They might be murals, buildings, landmarks, water features, statues, play areas or information boards. The questions are designed to make you think and pay attention, making for a fun group activity.

There are currently four options available:
Alicante by
This Adventure Hunt is set in the centre of Alicante, Spain. The route begins on the esplanade near the town hall, and passes through the iconic “Mushroom Street”. It will also lead you through several plazas and parks, allowing you to experience some of the greener areas of the city. This linear route ends at the “Parque del Mar”, which is a lesser-known park in the city, allowing you enjoy some peace and greenery before heading back to the city.
This Adventure Hunt consists of 22 clues spread over 2.4km, and it is made up of:
- 15% logical puzzles
- 55% 2-part discovery puzzles
- 30% observation puzzles.
This Adventure Hunt is perfect if you want to combine the hustle bustle of city life with some quieter corners of the area. Once you've completed the challenge, you can go for a walk around the park, and then walk back to the city via the port. There are no facilities in this quiet park, so make sure you take some water and maybe even a picnic, as there are some nice shaded grassy areas where you can relax.
Adventure Hunts in the evening?
If you would like to do an Adventure Hunt in the evening then here is some information to assist you.
- The city is well-lit, and all of the clues are nearby.
- With the aid of a torch, you will definitely see all of the clues clearly.
- However, this Adventure Hunt leads you to the Parque del Mar, which closes at 11pm in September/October (and 10pm from November).
- This park is quiet and remote, so if you want to explore it, it is nicer and possibly safer to do it during the day. However, the last clue is outside of the park.

Alicante – El Parque Palmeral
This Adventure Hunt is set in the beautiful “Parque Palmeral” (the palm tree park) in Alicante, Spain. This park is a true paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making a great location for an Adventure Hunt. Enjoy meeting turtles, having a picnic, walking behind a waterfall, and fully immersing yourself in nature—all while still having access to all the essential amenities
This Adventure Hunt consists of 19 clues spread over 1.6km, and it is made up of:
- 40% logical puzzles
- 25% 2-part discovery puzzles
- 35% observation puzzles.
This Adventure Hunt is perfect for children since the route stays entirely within the park's boundaries. There are no roads to cross, allowing for a safe and worry-free exploration of the area! It also features fantastic amenities for kids, including multiple play areas with unique equipment, a bike/skateboard track, and a basketball court. This route is also excellent for team bonding and friendly competition, thanks to its circular design. The Adventure Hunt passes through a central point three times, giving you plenty of chances to cross paths with rival teams. It’s the perfect opportunity to see who's in the lead and amp up the competitive energy!
Once you've completed the challenge, you can relax with some food and drinks at the bar (though it's typically closed on Mondays).
Adventure Hunts in the evening?
PARQUE PALMERAL is the best option for an evening Adventure Hunt
- This park is well-lit and usually quite busy. Even the café is open late!
- A few of the clues may be a little more difficult to find, but that will only make it more fun!
- With the aid of a torch, you will find all of them.
- This park closes at 11pm in September/October (and 10pm from November), so make sure you start a few hours before that to make the most out of your experience.
The other Adventure Hunts in Alicante are;
Alicante Via Verde
This Adventure Hunt is set along the coastline, just north of Alicante city. It is a beach-to-beach route, beginning at “Playa Postiguet”, and ending at “Playa de la Albufereta”. It follows the coast, via the “Via Verde de la Cantera”: an old train route that opened in June 2024. It offers fantastic views and a fresh sea breeze, as well as interesting information along the way.
This Adventure Hunt consists of 25 clues spread over 2.9km, and it is made up of:
- 20% logical puzzles
- 40% 2-part discovery puzzles
- 40% observation puzzles.
This Adventure Hunt is perfect for people who like walking with great views! Once you've completed the challenge, you can easily get a tram back from Albufereta back to Alicante (“Puerta del Mar” station). You can extend this route further, you could go hiking in other areas, with suggestions provided throughout the activity.
Mobility Impaired?
WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY – If you are looking for a wheelchair friendly Adventure Hunt route, the VIA VERDE experience follows the promenade and the old train line, so it is perfectly suitable for wheelchair users. Only 1 clue requires a slightly different, which is clearly explained when you reach it.

Alicantes gamleby
This Adventure Hunt leads you through the maze-like streets of the Old Town, taking you to all of the best places to visit. It begins/ends at the Town Hall, and passes by 8 FREE museums, 4 iconic houses, 4 churches, lots of town squares, a tower, and even a secret underground bunker. If you want to visit the museums during the Adventure Hunt, you will need to start early because the majority of them are open in the mornings and close very early in the afternoons! You will discover 3 ways to enter the park and see where you can access the castle via the lift. You could visit some of these attractions during your Adventure Hunt experience, or make a note to visit them another time!
Due to the location of the Old Town, it is necessary to walk up/down quite a few steps! So, take your time, relax in the town squares, drink the water from the fountains, stop at a café/bar for a snack, and enjoy the amazing views across the city!
This Adventure Hunt consists of 23 clues spread over 2.4km, and it is made up of:
• 15% logical puzzles
• 55% 2-part discovery puzzles
• 30% observation puzzles.
This Adventure Hunt is perfect if you want to fully explore the Old Town, while taking in its history and charm. It is suitable for all of the family, but does involve a lot of unavoidable steps!
This is a great way to start off your holiday, since it directs you to lots of attractions that you can visit during your stay.
It is a circular route, leading you back to the town hall, so that you don´t get lost! However, after this experience, you will know your way around the area much better and be inspired about what to do next!

The Alicante Adventure Hunts are not an escape room but it is a fun experience with similar challenges that need some teamwork and lateral thinking. It is very enjoyable for people who enjoy escape rooms. Everything takes place outside, at your own pace – there is no race against the clock. In fact, we encourage people to take a break for a drink or something to eat and enjoy the lovely surroundings that the Adventure Hunt is set in.
Is Adventure Hunt a walking tour of Alicante?
The Adventure Hunt in Alicante City takes you along the beautiful promenade and around the narrow streets of the fishing quarter, showing you some places that you were possibly not aware of. However, it is not a replacement for a historical or guided walk as the focus is on having fun rather than learning.
Is the Alicante city escape room experience suitable for families?
