Adventure Hunt currently has outdoor escape room experiences in six locations around Tenerife: Santa Cruz, La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz, El Medano, Costa Adeje and Los Abrigos. They are all different. You can explore historic city centres, street art, fishing villages, beaches and waterfront promenades, depending on which Adventure Hunt you choose.
All Adventure Hunts are designed by someone who lives locally. This is a really important part of what Adventure Hunt offers. We use interesting features, highlights and hidden gems that we have found locally, including plenty of things you could easily walk straight past without ever noticing.
Adventure Hunt has elements of outdoor escape rooms, scavenger hunts and treasure trails. We use buildings, statues, signs, murals, information plaques and just about anything else we find to create interesting and fun puzzles. You don’t need any special knowledge, just look around, pay attention and work out the answers.
Il App Caccia all'avventura guides you from one puzzle to the next without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map. Finding your way is part of the adventure. Hints are available for every puzzle if you get stuck. The App runs on your own Android o iPhone, so there is no equipment to collect and no guide to meet before you start.
Book online and start whenever you like. There are no fixed departure times, so plan in advance or decide on the day itself. Each booking covers a group of up to six people and Adventure Hunt is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch. We recommend groups of 2-4 people so that everyone stays involved.
Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Adventure Hunt starts close to the cruise terminal and takes you through the centre of Tenerife’s capital. The route includes plazas, pedestrian streets, the market, parks and the waterfront, with around 20 clues spread over approximately 2.5 km.
If you want to explore a city and see a good mix of different areas, Santa Cruz is a great choice. It is also really convenient if you are arriving on a cruise, as you can walk to the start from the port.

La Laguna
La Laguna is completely different. The historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is full of colourful buildings, traditional Canarian architecture, plazas and pedestrian streets.
If you like history and old buildings, choose La Laguna. Even if you already know the town, the puzzles will have you looking at things you probably haven’t noticed before.

Puerto de la Cruz
Puerto de la Cruz is a little different because there are two completely separate Adventure Hunts here.
The standard route explores the harbour, old town, plazas, churches and waterfront. The Street Art Adventure Hunt stays in the old town and is 100% about the murals and street art.
If you like street art, try that one. If you want to see more of Puerto de la Cruz, choose the standard route. If you can’t decide, then do both!

El Medano
The El Medano Adventure Hunt starts on the boardwalk overlooking Playa Leocadio Machado and explores the plazas, streets and waterfront around the town.
There is a standard route and a slightly shorter Family option, which simply cuts out part of the walk. El Medano is quite a compact Adventure Hunt and there are lots of places along the way to stop for a drink, an ice cream or something to eat. There is no time limit, so why rush?

Costa Adeje
The Costa Adeje Adventure Hunt follows the waterfront and boardwalks from Playa El Bobo to Playa Fanabe. If you are staying around Costa Adeje or Las Americas, this will probably be the closest Adventure Hunt to you.
You can choose the Standard or Family version. They follow the same general route, but the Family version has slightly less cryptic clues and more helpful hints. It is designed for children aged 8-12 when accompanied by adults.

Los Abrigos
Los Abrigos is our shortest Tenerife Adventure Hunt, with 18 clues spread over approximately 1 km around the main plaza and harbour.
This isn’t a big tourist resort. Los Abrigos is a small fishing village with great sea views and lots of restaurants around the harbour. If you want something that doesn’t involve too much walking, or fancy combining an Adventure Hunt with lunch or dinner by the sea, this is a good one to choose.

Which Tenerife Adventure Hunt should you choose?
It really depends on what you fancy doing.
For a city, try Santa Cruz. If you like history and traditional architecture, choose La Laguna. Puerto de la Cruz has the most choice and is the obvious one if street art interests you.
In the south, Costa Adeje is convenient if you are staying in the main tourist areas. El Medano has a relaxed beach-town feel, while Los Abrigos is shorter and takes you around a small fishing village.
Or just choose whichever one is closest to you. You don’t have to travel across the island to find the “best” Adventure Hunt. They have all been designed around their own locations and the puzzles are completely different.
And of course, you can always do more than one.

Possiamo fare questo invece di un tour a piedi?

Quanto sono difficili gli indizi?
Questa è una domanda davvero difficile! Ognuno vede le cose in modo diverso, quindi non c'è una risposta facile a quanto siano difficili gli indizi. I nostri test approfonditi garantiscono che non vi troverete mai di fronte a enigmi impossibili. Se avete già partecipato a una escape room o ad altri giochi di enigmistica all'aperto, scegliete le opzioni più lunghe o avanzate. Se siete un gruppo familiare, scegliete l'opzione famiglia. Altrimenti, scegliete l'opzione standard.
Si può fare un Adventure Hunt da casa?
Per poter risolvere ogni indizio è necessario trovarsi effettivamente nel luogo corretto. Per creare gli indizi utilizziamo caratteristiche locali permanenti, quindi senza trovarsi fisicamente nel luogo dell'indizio non è possibile risolverlo.
Esiste un sistema di punteggio?
Ogni indizio offre un massimo di 20 punti, con detrazioni per ogni risposta errata. L'uso di un suggerimento comporta solo una piccola detrazione, quindi non evitate di usarlo fino al punto di frustrarvi e rinunciare. Soprattutto, divertitevi e godetevi tutti gli indizi, in particolare l'elemento del lavoro di gruppo.
Possiamo sfidare un altro gruppo?
Sì, è uno dei modi più divertenti per partecipare. I punteggi in tempo reale sono disponibili nell'app Caccia all'avventura. Potrete vedere i punteggi di tutti coloro che stanno facendo la vostra stessa caccia nella pagina degli indizi completati. Quando sei pronto, basta che ti rechi al punto di partenza e inizi la tua Adventure Hunt. L’app ti guiderà di enigma in enigma, sbloccando ogni nuova sfida man mano che risolvi quella precedente. Se hai bisogno di un po’ di aiuto lungo il percorso, ci sono suggerimenti disponibili per ogni enigma. Sei libero di fermarti quando vuoi per mangiare un boccone, visitare la città o fare shopping, per poi riprendere la tua Adventure Hunt quando sei pronto, anche il giorno dopo se preferisci.
