The Adventure Hunt App helps you navigate between puzzles without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map. Hints can be used if you need assistance solving any of the puzzles. The App is available on both Android and iPhone.

The Torremolinos Adventure Hunt route consists of 24 clues spread over about 2.5 km around the highlights of the Carihuela and Bajondillo areas. The route takes in the beachfront promenade, the narrow streets of the fishing village, restaurants, beach clubs and tourist attractions, with lots of interesting places to see and things to find. Torremolinos FAQ

Is the Torremolinos Seafront Adventure Hunt an escape room?

The Torremolinos Seafront Adventure Hunt is not an escape room but it is a fun experience with similar challenges that need some teamwork and lateral thinking. It is very enjoyable for people who enjoy escape rooms. Everything takes place outside, at your own pace – there is no race against the clock. In fact, we encourage people to take a break for a drink or something to eat and enjoy the lovely surroundings that the Adventure Hunt is set in.

Is Adventure Hunt a walking tour of the Torremolinos Seafront?

The Adventure Hunt in Torremolinos Seafront takes you along the beautiful promenade and around the narrow streets of the fishing quarter, showing you some places that you were possibly not aware of. However, it is not a replacement for a historical or guided walk as the focus is on having fun rather than learning.

Is the Torremolinos Seafront escape room experience suitable for families?

Yes, Adventure Hunt is great for families.

are the clues complicated?

This is a really difficult question! What we can say is that out of the 10 initial test groups, no single clue was found to be difficult by all groups.  Every group did find a couple to be quite challenging, but they were almost always different clues from the other groups.

So we can assure you that you are not faced with any impossible puzzles.

How do I win?

Having fun is winning so there is no need to be too focused on the score.   That said, Adventure Hunt has a scoring system, with each clue offering a maximum of 20 points.  Collect as many points as you do your Adventure Hunt and compete with friends and other groups.

Can we compete against another group?

Live scores are available within the Adventure Hunt App. You will be able to see the scores of everyone doing the same hunt as you on the Clue Completed page. We encourage a 10-minute break between groups.

Please contact us if you have multiple groups. We can put up a specific configuration so that all of your groups can start on separate clues at the same time.

About Malaga Province

Málaga province is in the Andalucia region in the south of Spain. As well as the provincial capital, Málaga, the main cities are Marbella, Mijas, Fuengirola, Vélez-Málaga, Torremolinos, Estepona, and Benalmádena, all in the coastal area, with Ronda and Antequera inland. Some 1.7 million people call this area home.

The city of Málaga is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Western Europe, founded by the Phoenicians in about 770 BC. It also had influences from the Romans, Muslims, Byzantines, Berbers, Italians, and Jews, all of which can be seen in the architecture, culture and food of the area. It is now a modern city that is rapidly becoming the Spanish ‘Silicon Valley’.

Known for its beaches and mountains, art and museums, food and wine, whitewashed villages and cosmopolitan cities, this region is a mecca for millions of tourists, ‘snowbirds’ and digital nomads every year. It has the added bonus of one of Europe’s best climates, with long hot summers and mild winters.
The Costa del Sol – the Sunshine Coast – offers beautiful Mediterranean beaches with a huge range of facilities and leisure opportunities. Other attractions are the Caminito del Rey, El Torcal de Antequera, the whitewashed village of Frigiliana, and the Caves of Nerja.

Cultural and religious events are a great way to see another side of life in Málaga province. Visitors can enjoy Holy Week with its impressive and moving religious processions; the ferias or fairs with their dancing, fairgrounds, tapas, wine and horses; colourful carnivals; and international film festivals.

About Malaga City

The city’s origins date back to the early 16th century. It existed in 1502 as a coastal port, and as the dependent population center of La Orotava. In 1603 a church and its corresponding square were built.

It was originally a fishing village that grew as local trade was increasing. The port became the most important on the island when a volcano eruption destroyed Garachico in 1706. The sugar trade gave way to wine, resulting in large-scale social and economic development.

In the mid-17th century, the inhabitants began to express their desire to form their own community, receiving the Royal Provision of Felipe IV on 3 May 1651, which empowered them to appoint a village head.

It belonged to the municipality of La Orotava, and in 1772, a municipal corporation was elected by the residents. It was known as Puerto de La Orotava, and it was not until 1808 that it obtained full municipal autonomy, changing its name to the current Puerto de la Cruz.

Tourism began to have an important role in the local economy in the late 19th century. It was in those years that the Grand Hotel Taoro was built and that old family houses began to be remodelled, for example as Marquesa or Monopol, transforming them into the first hotels in the city center. Finally, the real tourism boom came in the 1950s, when the city began its transformation into the tourist reference point of the island and of the archipelago.

About Torremolinos

Torremolinos is one of the jewels in the crown of Andalucia’s Costa del Sol – ‘The Sunshine Coast’ – sitting between the Mediterranean Sea to the south and the mountains to the north. It enjoys a delightful climate that has helped turn it into one of Spain’s top tourist destinations that can be enjoyed all year round.
It was at the heart of the country’s tourist boom in the 1960s, which turned a small fishing village into a busy resort dedicated almost exclusively to sun, sea and sand. The Carihuela beach still retains its typical Andalusian charm.

The town’s 7 kilometres of sandy beaches are served by a multitude of beach bars called ‘chiringuitos’ and restaurants serving fabulous seafood alongside a broad landscaped promenade that is totally accessible and a pleasure to stroll along. The town’s six beaches are bordered to the east by Málaga and to the west by Benalmádena. It is possible to walk to these neighbouring cities along the seafront promenade which is part of the Málaga Coastal path.

This historic town dates back to the Neolithic and Roman era, becoming part of the city of Málaga in 1502. Its name comes from its Moorish watchtower, Torre Pimentel, built in around 1350 and still intact today in the heart of the town, and its mills built to grind wheat using water from the many springs in the area. Torremolinos gained its independence from Malaga in 1988, and it continues to boom.

As well as its climate, beaches and facilities, Torremolinos is known for its open and hospitable character that offers everyone a warm welcome.
