Torrevieja Adventure Hunt is a new outdoor escape room – a fun way to explore, enjoy a stroll, and have some fun in Torrevieja. Only 19.50€ per group.
Set off on a 3.8km adventure around the very best of Torrevieja, starting and finishing at La Glorieta (Plaza de la Constitución), the beating heart of the town. Your route takes you through the historic centre, past the old salt loading pier at Eras de la Sal, along the seafront promenade, out along the dramatic Dique de Levante breakwater, around the marina, and back through town to complete the loop.
21 cunning clues stand between you and victory. Sharpen your eyes, trust your instincts, and see how much you really notice as you explore Torrevieja like never before - with friends and family by your side.
Most of the route is flat and step-free, suitable for wheelchair users and families with strollers. One checkpoint currently involves a small number of steps - a lift is expected to be installed soon to make this checkpoint fully accessible too. There's no clock ticking, so take your time, soak up the views, and stop for a drink or a bite to eat along the way - Torrevieja has plenty of tempting spots to choose from. Fancy a nighttime challenge? In the summer months you can take on the hunt right up until 1am, under the stars.

Is Adventure Hunt a Walking Tour of Torrevieja ?
It’s a walking tour with a twist. Rather than just listening, you’ll be actively hunting for clues, spotting details you’d normally walk straight past, and piecing together Torrevieja’s story as you go. You’ll come away knowing the town far better than any guidebook could teach you – and you’ll have had a proper adventure doing it.

Dit is echt een moeilijke vraag! Wat we wel kunnen zeggen is dat van de 10 eerste testgroepen geen enkele aanwijzing door alle groepen moeilijk werd gevonden. Elke groep vond er wel een paar uitdagend, maar dat waren bijna altijd andere aanwijzingen dan de andere groepen.
We kunnen je dus verzekeren dat je niet voor onmogelijke puzzels komt te staan.
Hoe win ik?
Plezier hebben is winnen, dus je hoeft je niet te veel op de score te concentreren. Dat gezegd hebbende, Adventure Hunt heeft een puntensysteem, waarbij elke aanwijzing maximaal 20 punten oplevert. Verzamel zoveel punten als je Adventure Hunt doet en neem het op tegen vrienden en andere groepen.
Kunnen we het opnemen tegen een andere groep?
Live scores zijn beschikbaar in de Adventure Hunt App. Je kunt de scores zien van iedereen die dezelfde speurtocht doet als jij op de pagina Clue Voltooid. We raden je aan om 10 minuten pauze te nemen tussen de groepen.
Neem contact met ons op als je meerdere groepen hebt. We kunnen een specifieke configuratie opzetten zodat al je groepen tegelijkertijd op afzonderlijke aanwijzingen kunnen starten.

Hoe het werkt
Klik op de knop ‘Nu boeken’ om te reserveren. Je krijgt dan een bevestigingsmail met je boekingsnummer, een link om de Adventure Hunt-app te downloaden en een link naar het startpunt. Je kunt de app vervolgens openen met je e-mailadres en boekingsnummer – je hoeft geen wachtwoord aan te maken of te onthouden.
Zodra je er klaar voor bent, ga je gewoon naar het startpunt en begin je aan je Adventure Hunt. De app leidt je van puzzel naar puzzel en ontgrendelt elke nieuwe uitdaging zodra je de vorige hebt opgelost. Als je onderweg wat hulp nodig hebt, zijn er voor elke puzzel hints beschikbaar. Je kunt stoppen wanneer je maar wilt om iets te drinken, bezienswaardigheden te bekijken of te winkelen, en je Adventure Hunt weer oppakken zodra je er klaar voor bent – zelfs de volgende dag als je dat wilt.
About Torrevieja
Torrevieja is a vibrant coastal town on Spain’s Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante, famed for its shimmering pink salt lagoons, golden beaches, and a maritime history that runs deep. Once a modest fishing and salt-producing settlement, it has blossomed into one of the most beloved destinations on this stretch of Mediterranean coast – all while holding tight to its traditional soul.
SALT, SEA AND SURVIVAL
Salt is in Torrevieja’s blood. Since 1777, it has been loaded from the town’s historic pier at Eras de la Sal, and the salt trade once carried Torrevieja’s name as far as Cuba – a connection still celebrated today through the Habanera, a haunting style of music sailors brought home, now honoured every year at the world-famous International Habaneras Competition.
In 1829, disaster struck: a catastrophic earthquake levelled much of the town, including the ancient watchtower – Torre Vieja – that gave Torrevieja its name. Yet the town rose again, and that story of resilience still echoes through its streets, monuments and coat of arms today.
A TOWN BUILT ON THE SEA
Wander Torrevieja’s seafront and you’ll stumble upon monuments to the fishermen, sailors and sailors’ wives who shaped this town’s maritime soul – from the Hombre del Mar, forever watching out to sea, to the women who waited faithfully on the shore for their return. The Dique de Levante breakwater and the town’s two marinas are living proof that the sea still runs through everything here, just as it always has.
