Our Travels, Stories and Adventures

Adventure Hunt grew out of something we’ve always loved doing: travelling, exploring new places and discovering the things that are easy to walk straight past. Long before we created our first Adventure Hunt, we were wandering through unfamiliar towns, finding hidden corners, taking far too many photographs and occasionally getting completely lost.

This blog is where we’ll share some of those travels and the stories behind them. Some will be about places where you’ll now find an Adventure Hunt, and we’ll share how our experiences there influenced what we created. Others might have absolutely nothing to do with Adventure Hunt — they’re simply places we’ve visited, things we’ve discovered and experiences we think are worth sharing.

We don’t want this to become another collection of generic travel guides. Instead, we’ll write about places we’ve actually been, things we’ve actually done and what we thought of them. Sometimes that might be a whole destination; other times it could be an unusual attraction, a memorable journey, a great walk, or simply something that caught our attention.

Along the way, we’ll also tell some of the story of Adventure Hunt itself — where the idea came from, how our travels shaped it, and how exploring places ourselves eventually turned into creating adventures that encourage other people to look a little more closely at the world around them.
