This hunt is available in English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese and Dutch.

This Adventure Hunt begins and ends at the gates to Parque de la Batería, Torremolinos. The full address is Parque de la Batería, Calle Decano Antonio Seoane s/n, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga. The circular 2km route has 23 clues, all within the park, and you should allow about 1.5 hours to complete your experience.

Parque de la Batería is in a fabulous location overlooking the sea. It is one of Torremolinos' green lungs, and there really is something for everyone here! It offers a great combination of sports facilities, art, history and children’s activities. This Adventure Hunt is perfect for children as all the clues are inside the park and there is lots for them to see and do. If there are more than 4 of you, why not split into several groups to get the competitive juices flowing!

You can do the Adventure Hunt all year-round during daylight hours. There is no time limit, so take as long as you like! Enjoy a snack, ice cream or drink from the kiosk or vending machines in the park. The park is busy at weekends and after school, so if you prefer a more peaceful experience, choose weekdays before 3pm! Just before sunset can be a lovely time, especially in autumn.

Practical information

The route is suitable for wheelchairs, buggies and strollers, and the park is disabled friendly. There are public toilets with baby changing facilities, disabled toilets, and children’s toilets. Dogs on leads are permitted but should stay on the paths.
Park opening hours vary in winter and summer, so we recommend you check before starting your Adventure Hunt. It does not close at midday.

Getting there

Parque de la Batería is located north of La Carihuela/ Montemar neighbourhood and is a 5-minute walk from the Montemar Alto train station, making it easy to visit from anywhere along the Málaga to Fuengirola railway line (‘Cercanias’). If you prefer to drive to the park, there are limited parking spaces which fill up at weekends and after school; there are disabled parking spaces available.

A new panoramic elevator links Parque de la Batería with Avenida Carlota Alessandri and the beaches of La Carihuela. The lift, with a height of 30 metres and linked to the park with a 60-metre walkway, has capacity for eight people and a cost of 1 euro payable by bank card. It is free of charge for pensioners and those with reduced mobility. The opening hours are currently 10am to 2pm and 3pm to 6pm in winter (October to March) and 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm in summer (check opening times of both the lift and park before arriving as they can vary).
