Adventure Hunt is a new outdoor escape room experience in Santa Pola, a charming seaside town just 20 km south of Alicante. Some clues are straightforward; others reward sharp eyes and a good memory (because yes — sometimes you’ll need something you noticed earlier). It’s designed to be fun, not frustrating. And if you ever get stuck, hints are available so the adventure keeps moving forward.
The Adventure Hunt App guides you from clue to clue with clear directions — not just a dot on a map. Available on iPhone and Android.
Right now, only Santa Pola Center route is available but keep an eye on this page to learn when we release new hunts in the area.
This route features 22 clues spread over 2.7 km and takes you through Santa Pola’s old town and parts of the harbor, mixing iconic highlights with easy-to-miss gems.
Your adventure begins at the main entrance of the Santa Pola Fortress and leads you through narrow streets, lively squares, and green corners of the town. Along the way you’ll spot famous landmarks like:
- The Fortress (Castillo-Fortaleza)
- La Glorieta
- Plaza de Abastos
- Casa de la Cultura
- El Palmeral
- Paseo marítimo
- The aquarium
- The harbor area & fish market
…and you’ll also uncover smaller details many visitors walk past — like murals, monuments & statues, and tucked-away squares that tell the story of Santa Pola in surprising ways.
The route is circular: Your first clue is inside the fortress walls, and your final clue brings you to Calle Muelle, the well-known pedestrian street that leads back to the square in front of the fortress.
Take as much time as you need to complete it and feel free to spend some time admiring the wonders of Santa Pola along the way. Since there’s no time limit, you can even enjoy a drink or a meal at one of the many local restaurants and bars in the town center or on the harbor promenade. If you decide to do the adventure hunt without taking a break, it can take you 2-3 hours depending on how observant you are and how quickly you solve the puzzles.
You can do the Adventure Hunt all year-round during daylight hours. Summer tip: It can get hot, so bring water and consider a hat — morning or early evening often feels best.

In fact, we encourage people to take a break for a drink or something to eat and enjoy the lovely surroundings that the Adventure Hunt is set in.
Is Adventure Hunt a walking tour of Santa Pola?
The Adventure Hunt in Alicante City takes you along the beautiful promenade and around the narrow streets of the fishing quarter, showing you some places that you were possibly not aware of. However, it is not a replacement for a historical or guided walk as the focus is on having fun rather than learning.
Is the Alicante city escape room experience suitable for families?
Yes, Adventure Hunt is great for families.
are the clues complicated?
This is a really difficult question! What we can say is that out of the 10 initial test groups, no single clue was found to be difficult by all groups. Every group did find a couple to be quite challenging, but they were almost always different clues from the other groups.
So we can assure you that you are not faced with any impossible puzzles.
How do I win?
Having fun is winning so there is no need to be too focused on the score. That said, Adventure Hunt has a scoring system, with each clue offering a maximum of 20 points. Collect as many points as you do your Adventure Hunt and compete with friends and other groups.
Can we compete against another group?
Live scores are available within the Adventure Hunt App. You will be able to see the scores of everyone doing the same hunt as you on the Clue Completed page. We encourage a 10-minute break between groups.
Please contact us if you have multiple groups. We can put up a specific configuration so that all of your groups can start on separate clues at the same time.
