Adventure Hunt Los Abrigos provides outdoor escape room experiences. Adventure Hunt clues have similarities to scavenger hunts and escape rooms. We use buildings, statues, information plaques, and your general surroundings to create engaging and enjoyable clues.
The Adventure Hunt App leads you from one problem to the next while giving you hints and clues along the way. The App has been developed for both Android and iPhone.
To ensure that everyone is actively involved, a group size of 2-4 people is advised. We suggest dividing into two different groups if you have a larger group.

The Los Abrigos Adventure Hunt route consists of 18 clues spread over 1km around the Los Abrigos main plaza and harbour. Los Abrigos has great sea views and is a great place for dining out. Is Adventure Hunt Los Abrigos an escape room?
Yes and No.
Answering the no first; it’s quite different in format – it is outside, there is no time pressure, and there is no final end goal to “Escape the Room”.
The yes is that there are many puzzles to solve and you need to work as a team to solve them. We are confident that if you enjoy Escape Rooms then you will enjoy Adventure Hunt.
Is this new Los Abrigos outdoor escape room experience suitable for families?
Yes, the route we have designed is fun for families. There are lots of places to stop along the way for ice cream or a drink.
Are the puzzles difficult?
The answer to this question is incredibly tricky! Our aim is for most groups to get half the clues wrong on the first attempt, but solve them after using the hint or a bit more thought. Because everyone perceives things slightly differently, you will have the best success in a group of 2-4.
Is there a final score?
There is no need to be too focused on your final score. Because the routes will change from time to time we are not maintaining a top scores leader board.
Can we see the live score of our friends?
Live scores are available within the Adventure Hunt App. You will be able to see the scores of everyone doing the same hunt as you on the Clue Completed page. We advise leaving a gap of 10 minutes between groups.
If you have several groups then please contact us. We can arrange a custom setup so all of your groups can start at the same time, on different clues.

How it works
Click the Book Now button to make a booking. You will then receive a confirmation email containing your booking reference, a link to download the Adventure Hunt app, and a link to the start point. You can then open the app using your email address and booking reference—there are no passwords to create or remember.
Once you’re ready, simply head to the start point and begin your Adventure Hunt. The app will guide you from puzzle to puzzle, unlocking each new challenge as you solve the previous one. If you need a little help along the way, hints are available for every puzzle. You’re free to stop whenever you like for refreshments, sightseeing or shopping, then continue your Adventure Hunt whenever you’re ready—even the next day if you wish.

About Los Abrigos
Los Abrigos is a traditional fishing village on the south coast of Tenerife, within the municipality of Granadilla de Abona. Unlike many of the purpose-built tourist resorts nearby, Los Abrigos has retained much of its original character, with a working harbour, narrow streets and a relaxed atmosphere. The village takes its name from the sheltered natural bay (“abrigos” meaning “shelters”), which has provided a safe anchorage for fishing boats for generations.
The village began to grow during the late 19th and early 20th centuries as families settled around the harbour, earning their living from fishing and supporting the agricultural exports from inland Granadilla. Fresh fish landed each morning became the foundation of the local economy, and seafood remains central to the village’s identity today. Although tourism has become increasingly important, fishing boats can still be seen working from the harbour, helping preserve Los Abrigos’ authentic Canarian charm.
Today, Los Abrigos is widely regarded as one of the best places in southern Tenerife to enjoy fresh seafood. The harbour is lined with traditional fish restaurants, many serving locally caught fish, octopus, squid and shellfish. Visitors can stroll along the waterfront, watch the fishing boats return with their catch or relax in one of the cafés overlooking the sea. Despite its popularity, Los Abrigos has avoided large-scale hotel developments, giving it a quieter and more traditional atmosphere than many neighbouring resorts.
The coastline around Los Abrigos is volcanic, with rocky coves, natural swimming areas and crystal-clear water popular for snorkelling and diving. Just offshore lies part of the San Blas Marine Reserve, where the underwater volcanic landscape provides a habitat for a wide variety of marine life. The nearby coastal paths offer pleasant walks with views across the Atlantic and towards Montaña Roja.
Located only a few minutes from Tenerife South Airport, Los Abrigos provides an ideal base for visitors looking to experience a more traditional side of southern Tenerife while remaining close to beaches, golf courses and the island’s main tourist attractions. Its combination of excellent seafood, a picturesque harbour and genuine fishing village atmosphere has made it one of the south’s most popular places to visit for both locals and tourists alike.
