La Laguna Escape Room Experience
La Laguna Adventure Hunt is a new shore excursion – a fun way to explore, enjoy a stroll, and have some fun in La Laguna. Only 19.50€ per group.
Adventure Hunt is a new way to explore and enjoy La Laguna. It is a cross between a walking tour, an escape room, and a scavenger hunt. Each puzzle uses items in plain sight. They might be murals, buildings, landmarks, water features, statues, play areas, or information boards. The questions are designed to make you think and pay attention, making for a fun group activity.
The Adventure Hunt App helps you navigate between puzzles without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map. Hints can be used if you need assistance solving any of the puzzles. The App is available on both Android and iPhone.
This Adventure Hunt takes place in the old town area of La Laguna. We start near Plaza. del Adelantado and pass by many of the popular and interesting locations in La Laguna, including - Catedral de San Cristbal de La Laguna, Iglesia de la Concepcion, Plaza Doctor Oliviera, Iglesia y exconvento de San Agustin. The route is one way, it crosses through the many side streets and covers roughly 2 km and consists of 19 clues. It includes some cobbled areas but is almost completely flat, making it easily possible for mobility impaired customers.
You should allow 1 to 2 hours to complete the hunt, but we recommend taking your time. Bring water, maybe a snack, and enjoy the journey at your own pace. If you prefer to enjoy some local foods or refreshments along the way, you’ll be in the perfect area of the city to do so, with restaurants and bars galore! To make sure everyone is engaged, we suggest groups of 2 to 4 participants. If your group is larger, split into smaller teams for a fun, friendly competition. Gather your friends or family, challenge your minds, and discover La Laguna in a brand new way. Adventure is waiting! Are you ready?
We also have Adventure Hunts in Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz, El Medano, Costa Adeje and Los Abrigos. Be sure to follow Adventure Hunt on Facebook or Instagram to stay informed.

Adventure Hunt La Laguna is a walking tour for some people. You will have complete flexibility to stop at all of the points of interest for as long as you like. Most of the places of interest have detailed information plaques outside so you can learn and read as much or as little as you like. The Adventure Hunt is not an escape room, but it is a fun experience with similar challenges that need some teamwork and lateral thinking. It is very enjoyable for people who enjoy escape rooms. So we can assure you that you are not faced with any impossible puzzles.

Can we compete against another group?
Live scores are available within the Adventure Hunt App. You will be able to see the scores of everyone doing the same hunt as you on the Clue Completed page. We encourage a 10-minute break between groups.
Please contact us if you have multiple groups. We can put up a specific configuration so that all of your groups can start on separate clues at the same time.
About La Laguna de Tenerife
ORIGINS
Following the conquest of Tenerife in 1496, La Laguna was founded by Alonso Fernández de Lugo and quickly became Tenerife’s first capital. Due to its inland location, away from the pirate attacks that threatened coastal settlements, the city developed as the island’s political, religious and cultural center.
During the 16th and 17th centuries, La Laguna became one of the most important cities in the Canary Islands. Its carefully planned grid layout became a model for many colonial cities. Churches, convents, palaces and noble houses were built throughout the city, many of which survive today, and many of these can be visited.
UNESCO
In recognition of its historical and architectural significance, the historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. The historic center contains a collection of churches, convents, palaces and traditional Canarian houses dating from the 16th to 18th centuries. The city is recognized as one of the earliest examples of a non-fortified colonial town planned according to a grid layout. Its design served as a model for many cities established by Spain in the Americas, influencing urban development throughout the New World.
Unlike many historic cities that evolved organically over time, La Laguna was carefully planned with straight streets and open public squares. This innovative approach reflected Renaissance ideals of urban planning and helped create a city that was both practical and harmonious. Remarkably, much of this original layout remains intact today.
