Yes, Adventure Hunt is great for families.
are the clues complicated?
This is a really difficult question! What we can say is that out of the 10 initial test groups, no single clue was found to be difficult by all groups. Every group did find a couple to be quite challenging, but they were almost always different clues from the other groups.
So we can assure you that you are not faced with any impossible puzzles.
How do I win?
Having fun is winning so there is no need to be too focused on the score. That said, Adventure Hunt has a scoring system, with each clue offering a maximum of 20 points. Collect as many points as you do your Adventure Hunt and compete with friends and other groups.
Can we compete against another group?
Live scores are available within the Adventure Hunt App. You will be able to see the scores of everyone doing the same hunt as you on the Clue Completed page. We encourage a 10-minute break between groups.

About Villajoyosa
Situated along the crystal-clear Mediterranean is the charming town of Villajoyosa—affectionately known as La Vila. It is a colourful seaside town rich in history, culture, and coastal charm. Just a short tram ride from Benidorm and Alicante, it offers the perfect blend of authentic Valencian life and slow-paced holiday bliss. Its famously bright, multicoloured houses, golden beaches, and deep chocolate-making tradition give the town a personality that’s warm, lively, and unmistakably unique.
From strolling along its palm-lined promenade to exploring its ancient old town or sampling traditional dishes by the sea, Villajoyosa welcomes travellers looking for beauty, history, and a more peaceful escape from Spain’s busier coastal hotspots.
A TOWN PAINTED IN COLOUR AND HISTORY
Villajoyosa’s story reaches back over 3,000 years, with evidence of Iberian, Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish settlement. The Romans valued its strategic coastal position, leaving behind archaeological remains that hint at its importance as a port and trading hub. Later, during medieval times, the town fortified itself with walls and watchtowers to defend against pirate attacks—many of which still stand as reminders of its turbulent past.
Today, Villajoyosa blends this rich history with modern Mediterranean living. Its vibrant old quarter, bustling market, artisan bakeries, and traditional fishing port all contribute to the town’s warm, lived-in charm. And of course, Villajoyosa is the home of Valor, Spain’s most famous chocolate maker, filling the air with sweet aromas and offering a delicious taste of local heritage.
The town’s main central beach is its golden heart—wide, clean, and framed by colourful houses that look like a postcard brought to life. With calm turquoise waters and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply settling under a parasol with the sound of waves for company.
