You can do your Adventure Hunt at any time as the Adventure Hunt App guides you from clue to clue, though some clues will be tricky without daylight.
Your booking confirmation email includes all of the information needed to start your Adventure Hunt!

More Information

Follow a 2km walking route around this lively fishing village, on the banks of the Odiaxere estuary. The trail takes you along the palm tree-lined riverfront and up into the narrow, winding streets of the old quarter. Using the Adventure Hunt App (available on both Android and iPhone) to guide you, find landmarks, solve puzzles – with helpful hints if you get stuck - and uncover ‘fun facts’ along the way.
It’s a loop walk (with 20 puzzles) starting in the car park next to the fishing huts and sports complex. Buses No. 14 and 15 also stop nearby.

There are plenty of other interesting things to see along the route including the Lota (old fish market) and statues commemorating the village’s fishing heritage. It’s also one of the best places to eat oysters, sourced freshly from the bay. Stop for a seafood lunch at one of Alvor’s riverfront restaurants or combine the Adventure Hunt with some beach time, go flamingo spotting on the Estação da Biodiversidade de Alvor walk, or play a round of crazy golf at one of 2 nearby courses.

There are 2 hunts to choose from: Family or Standard. Both hunts are 2.1km long and have 20 clues; the Family Hunt making more use of observation and stronger hints if you can't work out the answer. They can be completed in around 2 hours, but you can take as long as you like - provided you finish before dark, or you might struggle to find the clues!

Excellent value: only €19.50 per group – that’s less than 5€ per person for a fun family experience (recommended group size 2-4). If you’re a big group, we recommend you split into teams of 4.
