The pretty seaside town of Praia da Luz makes a great location for an Adventure Hunt. You can combine the hunt with a morning or afternoon on the gorgeous sandy beach, and/or stop for lunch at one of the palm tree-lined promenade cafes. If you’re feeling energetic, there are some fabulous clifftop walks from Luz too, as well as water sports equipment to rent.
The Luz Adventure Hunt starts and ends at the Credit Agricola bank by the church in the centre of the town. If you are visiting by public transport, there is a bus stop opposite.
There are 3 Adventure Hunt options available. The Standard and Family hunts consist of 19 clues spread over 2km. The Advanced option adds a further 3 clues, making a total of 22 over a 2.5km route. The Standard route has fewer cryptic clues than the Advanced route.
To ensure that everyone is actively involved, a group size of 2-4 persons is recommended. If your group is larger, we suggest dividing into two different groups.
