What we need
We collect basic personal data from you and only when required. Depending on the nature of the interaction with you, this may include some or all of the following; your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
Adventure Hunt uses location-based information to guide you around an Adventure Hunt. This information is not stored or shared.
We collect your answers to the questions and puzzles but these do not contain any personal information.
Why we need it
We require this basic personal information in order to deliver the service you have paid us to provide you. Your phone number and email address are used to create login details so that you can access the Adventure Hunt you have paid for.
What we do with it
All the personal data we collect is processed automatically to create login details for you. This information is located (hosted) on servers within the European Union. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.?
How we protect it
We recognise your rights concerning this information and take every possible measure to respect these rights and protect your personal data.
How long we keep your data
We will retain your information for not more than 12 months in order to handle any outstanding or future inquiries. After this time, it will be destroyed.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Refunds
All reasonable requests for refunds will be honoured provided they are submitted before collecting the T-Shirt or commencing the Adventure Hunt. Refund requests after this time will only be considered in exceptional cases. Please email info@adventure-hunt.com outlining the reasons why a refund is being requested.
Your rights
As a citizen, you have a number of rights over your personal information, including:
- The right to access the data we hold on you
- The right to correct or update this data
- The right to have the data erased, once this contract is completed, and within the set retention period, unless you renew
- The right to inform us if you feel your information is being used in an inappropriate way
- The right to receive a downloaded file of the personal information we hold
- If we are making automated decisions based on your information, or profiling you, you have the right to have an employee of (organisation name) conduct a review
- If you request that we cease to use your data, this may prevent us from providing the contracted services to you
